New to Online Forums

Postby rose3and on Sun Aug 02, 2009 10:49 pm

Hi Fiona,

I have never participated in an online forum - it will take a while for me to get the hang of it.

Very interested in your website. My daughter is 11 years old and was diagnosed with BOR very early (at about 6 weeks, I think). I was only able to get very limited information from the internet when she was born and suffered a lot of anxiety and needless guilt at the time. Wonderful to see you have made it so easy for people to discuss the many issues relating to BOR.

With the help of the wonderful staff at the Royal Childrens' Hospital we have managed to get through each little hurdle associated with this syndrome. I would be really interested to see if there are any other people registered on your site who have older children to find out if things have stabilised for their children, or if there are other issues that I should be looking out for concerning BOR.

Thank you

Kind regards

Hi there,

Welcome to our site. I am so glad that we have been of some help to you. I noticed that you said your daughter is treated at the Royal Hospital... Where is that??? I only actually know 3 other families with BOR in Australia my other contacts are all overseas.

Please scroll through the forum, there are many conversations and topics going on here. You can learn lots!

Hope to hear from you again soon.

Kindest Regards

Dear Andrea,

Melbourne. We are getting closer to Sydney! Yes enjoy the Forum there is plenty to read here and I imagine you will learn alot. There are some great ladies online too to share with.

We are clearing out all the advertising from the Forum at the moment so hopefully that will make it a little easier to use in the next couple of weeks.

Keep in touch.
